Standard Math:
Our Standard Maths course adheres to the NSW Mathematics Standard syllabus for Year 12, offering two distinct pathways: Standard 1, with an optional HSC exam, and Standard 2, which requires an HSC exam. Students explore financial maths, mastering calculations related to investments, loans, and depreciation to understand real-world financial applications. The course also covers statistical analysis, where students analyse bivariate data and correlation to interpret relationships and trends. Measurement is a key focus, with an emphasis on rates and scaling for practical problem-solving. For Standard 2 students, the curriculum includes networks, where they learn to use network diagrams to determine shortest paths and solve connectivity problems. Through structured practice and exam-focused strategies, we ensure students are well-prepared for their HSC exams and equipped with lifelong numeracy skills.
